IS INDIA IN COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE OF COVID-19?

It is suspected that INDIA is currently not in the COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE but it would may be in that stage if we did not follow all the lockdown and containment measure and guidelines provided by the government.

IS INDIA IN COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE OF COVID-19?

IS INDIA IN COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE OF COVID-19?

According to the cases which are being discovered daily in which is in thousands of number we are at the confusion point where we are unable to identify that the situation going on is due to COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION of the COVID-19 or not. But till date, the answer to this question comes directly from the INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH (ICMR) stating that currently, INDIA is not at the stage of COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE which is somewhat good news but again there is recording thousands of cases on the daily basis.

According to the first sero-surveys on the COVID-19 spread, we found the result that there is no suspension of COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE but again all the COVID-19 cases are yet to be discovered so we can't say that INDIA will not have to face the COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE. Till today we are away from this COMMUNITY TRANSMISSION STAGE just because of the proper measures and prevention have taken which is majorly lockdown and prevention measures taken in the lockdown.

There are two parts of the sero-surveys and they are as follows:-
  • First is that assumption is taken that some percentage of the population is infected with the SRAS-COV-2.
  • And the second is that some percentage of the population is being infected by the CORONAVIRUS in containment zones and the hotspot cities of INDIA.
[NOTE:-All the data is provided by the ICMR and is on the basis of estimation so if we provide the information as possible as in the real-time to avoid any type of change in the news.]

The first part of the sero-survey has been completed and the second part of the survey is yet to be completed. This survey was launched with the collaboration of the INDIAN COUNCIL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH (ICMR), STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT, NATIONAL CENTRE FOR DISEASE CONTROL (NCDC) and WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION (WHO) and launched in the month of MAY.

In this survey, according to the BHARGAVA, a total of 83 districts and 26,400 are enrolling for this survey. Till date, the total data shared with the media is only of 65 districts because till date 65 districts have been enrolled for this survey and completed the survey.

To report the cases as low as it could be, the "LOCKDOWN and CONTAINMENT [MEAUSRES] is very successful as it results in the lower to the spreading aspects. With this survey, the result comes out that 0.73 percent of the population in the districts had been found the past exposure to SRAS-COV-2 in the past time.

But we all know that the suspension is that there would be a very large proportion who are infected with the COVID-19.

SO BE ALERT AND DONT EXPOSE TO THE CROWDED AREAS TO AVOID THE INFECTION AND ONLY COME OUT WHEN IT IS NEEDED TO BUY ESSENTIALS.
